Alli Gober

 RM CPM

As a homebirth midwife and primary care provider, Alli Gober offers holistic, natural care for pregnancy and the everyday miracle of birth. Alli has attended births at home and at birth centers since 2006, and delivered her own son at home in 2008.
Her favorite moments in birth include watching a family meet their newborn for the first time and helping families embrace their unique journey through labor and birth. She enjoys educating families in making informed decisions for their pregnancies and births. She believes normal, healthy pregnancies and births are not medical events and enjoys simplifying the journey for families in her care.

Alli Gober was born in Texas and attended college at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relationships. After college, she moved to Colorado and trained in the Olympic sport of whitewater slalom.

Alli began apprenticing at homebirths in 2006, and in 2008 studied women's health and midwifery at Maternidad la Luz, a birth center and midwifery school in El Paso, TX. Alli returned to Colorado in 2010 and has been practicing rural homebirth midwifery since her return. After passing a rigorous national board exam in 2012, Alli opened her own practice as a Certified Professional and Registered Midwife.

Alli currently provides maternity and homebirth services throughout central Colorado. When she's not attending births, Alli volunteers for a youth kayaking program and lives in Salida with her son. When she's off call, she can always be found in the mountains and on the river.
